Halle Bailey and DDG are making their son an even bigger part of our world.
The Little Mermaid star and rapper posed for family photos during a recent trip to Italy, sharing the first images of their son Halo's face on Instagram July 3.
The couple—who welcomed their baby boy last year—smiled on a dock while holding up Halo into the air, all dressed in elegant black and white ensembles.
"Halo’s first time in italy," Halle captioned the photos, while DDG wrote under a post of his own, "la familia who halo look like more?"
Fans couldn't help but see his resemblance to Halle—who made a stunning appearance at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 30—with one fan writing, "He is your twin."
"omg! a replica of his momma!! so cute!" another user wrote, with a third noting that Halo "looks so much" like Halle's sister Chloe Bailey. "He’s so perfect!"
Although Halle and DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) are clearly in love with their little one, she previously shared it wasn't an easy journey to get to this point.
"I have severe, severe postpartum [depression]," the 24-year-old said in a Snapchat video earlier this year, "and I don't know if any new moms can relate, but it's to the point where it's really bad, and it's hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out."
Needless to say, becoming a mom has changed her wholeheartedly.
"The only thing that's been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body," Halle continued. "I feel like a completely different person when I look in the mirror. I just feel like I'm in a whole new body, and I don't know who I am."
She added of her health, "It has nothing to do with my baby. It has everything to do with me and who I am right now."
Read on for a greater glimpse inside Halle and DDG's private world.
